The principal, Brian Pashen, has over 30 years’ experience in helping business and during this time has been involved in most industry sectors. Brian commenced his career in the Australian Taxation Office and, while it provided a good grounding in taxation, it was too restricting and revenue gathering focused. He left the ATO to join a big four firm but again found that the interests of SMEs were not of central importance, so he joined a business that was focused on SMEs. This set him on the path to adding value to the businesses with which Project SME deals. Brian remarks. ‘We cut through the red tape and develop customised systems and procedures for all SMEs.
